Food Court Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Food Court Manager to lead food service operations for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role combines operational oversight, staff leadership, and strict compliance with Navy standards to deliver high‑quality meals in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily food court operations to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Supervise, schedule, and train food service staff, monitoring performance against Navy standards.
• Maintain compliance with Navy accounting systems, preparing accurate financial and sales reports.
• Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to Navy guidelines and customer requirements.
• Monitor sanitation and safety protocols, enforcing formal training standards.
• Lead inventory control, procurement, and stock level management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop nutritious, cost‑effective menus.
• Collect and act on feedback from customers and staff to continuously improve service.
• Prepare operational reports for leadership review, including performance metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of experience managing Navy food service operations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Navy accounting systems and food service compliance.
• At least one (1) year of formal education in food service preparation.
• Formal training in sanitation practices and relevant safety protocols.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for liaison with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials for the deployment duration.
