Physician – BOSC Clinic (Diego Garcia)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Physician to deliver comprehensive medical care at the BOSC Clinic on Diego Garcia. You will serve a diverse, multinational workforce, providing primary, urgent, and preventive health services in an austere OCONUS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Conduct physical examinations, review histories, and order appropriate labs and imaging.
• Develop patient care plans that incorporate treatment, education, and prevention.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in line with medical guidelines.
• Collaborate with Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, and ancillary staff.
• Respond to emergencies, providing advanced life support, trauma stabilization, and critical care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate in clinical operations review and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty.
• Valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
• 3–5 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care, emergency, or clinic settings.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications; PALS is a plus.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) and ability to travel internationally with a passport valid ≥1 year.
• Ability to meet contract medical requirements for the duration of deployment.
