Nurse Practitioner for US Navy Clinic on Diego Garcia

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive medical care at the BOSC Clinic supporting a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will work in an austere, multi‑national environment providing both routine and emergency health services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced medical care for acute and chronic illnesses, including physical exams, diagnostics, and treatment.
• Prescribe and manage medications in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure evidence‑based patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare and contractual requirements.
• Deliver emergency medical care and support public health and medical readiness initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in nursing with a current Nurse Practitioner license meeting US standards.
• 1‑3 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Valid passport (minimum 1 year validity) and ability to travel internationally.
• English proficiency (written and oral) and strong communication skills.
