Physician Assistant – BOSC Clinic

About the role

Amentum is looking for a qualified Physician Assistant to join the BOSC Clinic on Diego Garcia, supporting a critical U.S. Navy program. You will deliver high‑quality medical care to a diverse patient population in an austere, overseas environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, review medical histories, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within PA scope of practice.
• Provide emergency medical care and trauma stabilization during critical incidents.
• Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory and imaging diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Assist in public health initiatives, health education, and occupational health programs.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop treatment plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA‑C certification/licensure in the United States.
• 1‑3 years of direct patient‑care experience in a clinical or military setting.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to pass contract medical requirements.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
