Maintenance Mechanic – Facility & Equipment Repairs

About the role

The Maintenance Mechanic performs maintenance and repair of facilities and mechanical equipment under the supervision of a Journeyman Mechanic or higher‑level craftsman. The role involves working with engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems and other production machinery.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications.
• Dismantle devices using hoists, cranes, hand and power tools to replace defective parts.
• Test equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, fans and airfield support gear.
• Inspect parts, measure dimensions with calipers, micrometers and other precision instruments.
• Lubricate, clean and adjust functional components of mechanical systems.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
• Proficient in use and care of mechanic’s tools, shop equipment and lubricants.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment using technical manuals and drawings.
• Pass overseas medical screening and hold a valid professional driver’s license (Restriction Code 2).
• Minimum four years of experience in mechanical equipment maintenance or a full apprenticeship.
