Supervisor, Sr. QA Specialist (Contingency)

About the role

The Supervisor, Sr. QA Specialist will develop and implement the Quality Assurance Plan for contract performance, inspecting all aspects of work and ensuring compliance with BOS contracts and safety standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the role has authority to halt operations when non‑conformance or safety issues are identified.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Quality Assurance Plan and inspection procedures for all contract annexes.
• Create detailed inspection reports, recommend corrective actions, and apply quality tools such as statistical methods and audits.
• Validate and verify contractually required standards, using performance evaluation and prediction methods to improve safety, reliability, and maintainability.
• Align quality management functions with product line performance needs and solve complex field problems.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of QA/QC experience in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 standards.
• Self‑motivated supervisor with strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to pass overseas medical screening and hold a valid driver’s license (restriction code ≥ 2).

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt certification (or training).
• American Society for Quality (ASQ) certifications: Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Quality Inspector, Certified Quality Technician.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with specialized inspection and testing techniques, statistical methods, and quality problem‑solving tools.
