Physician Assistant - BOSC Clinic

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to provide high‑quality medical care at the BOSC Clinic on Diego Garcia. You will work closely with physicians and the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive clinical services in a unique US Navy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, review medical histories, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within PA scope of practice.
• Provide emergency medical care and trauma stabilization during critical incidents.
• Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory and imaging diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Support public health programs, health education, and occupational health services.
• Assist in planning and improving clinic operations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA‑C certification/licensure meeting U.S. standards.
• 1‑3 years of direct patient‑care experience in a clinical or military setting.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining validity.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain them throughout deployment.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
