NGIS Reservation Agent (Navy Lodging)

About the role

Amentum is seeking an NGIS Reservation Agent to manage guest reservations for the Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (NGIS) on Diego Garcia. You will ensure accurate bookings, provide top‑tier customer service, and support front‑desk operations in a unique military‑lodging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process check‑ins, check‑outs, cancellations, modifications and special requests using approved lodging management systems.
• Maintain reservation records, occupancy reports and daily logs in line with NGIS procedures.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and management to guarantee room readiness.
• Verify eligibility of military, government and authorized civilian guests.
• Handle payments, receipts and financial transactions according to guidelines.
• Communicate guest issues and operational updates to supervisors and Navy leadership.
• Support front‑desk duties, including phone coverage and administrative tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years experience in reservations, hospitality or lodging operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid passport (minimum one year beyond hire date) and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to meet contract medical requirements and obtain facility credentials.
• Valid driver’s license.
