Pest Control Supervisor

About the role

The Pest Control Supervisor will oversee and execute pest control services for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia, ensuring compliance with the Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP) and maintaining a safe, healthy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pest control services following the Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP) to prevent, control and eradicate invertebrate, vertebrate and vegetation pests.
• Lead and supervise the pest control team, schedule activities and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Monitor pest populations, evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of sightings, treatments, chemicals used and report findings to management.
• Train staff on proper use of tools, protective equipment and safe pesticide handling.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pest control services, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of pest biology, behavior and control methods for a wide range of invertebrate and vertebrate species.
• Experience applying Integrated Pest Management principles.
