Property Administrator

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Property Administrator to support a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves managing records, inventory, and documentation for government and contractor owned property, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all government and contractor owned property.
• Conduct inventories, physical inspections, and control processes to verify accountability.
• Coordinate receipt, issuance, transfer, storage, and disposition of property according to established procedures.
• Develop and implement labeling, tracking, and storage procedures.
• Prepare reports on property status, discrepancies, losses, or damages.
• Monitor and enforce Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) requirements.
• Investigate property loss or damage and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, warehousing, and other internal departments.
• Support internal and external audits of property records and systems.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2‑4 years of experience in property administration, inventory or asset management.
• Formal property management training.
• Familiarity with property tracking systems and related databases.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
