Officers Club Manager

About the role

Amentum is looking for an Officers Club Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations of the Officers Club supporting a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role combines hospitality management, safety compliance, and customer service excellence in a unique military environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all club operations, including food and beverage service, event coordination, and customer relations.
• Lead, supervise, and train staff to meet Navy MWR Star Service and AECR standards.
• Ensure compliance with CNICINST 1710.3 hazardous‑materials regulations and maintain CPR certification for all personnel.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
• Develop programs and services that enhance patron experience.
• Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and hazardous materials with proper record‑keeping.
• Track budgets, financial records, and revenue goals.
• Communicate with patrons, staff, and stakeholders to resolve concerns and improve services.
• Plan and execute special events, catering, and activities for officers and guests.
• Prepare routine operational and training compliance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or facility operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Willingness to complete Navy MWR Star Service and AECR customer‑service training.
• Ability to receive training on hazardous‑materials handling per CNICINST 1710.3.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to travel internationally.
• Capability to pass contract medical requirements.
