Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking an experienced Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Supervisor to lead a dedicated team on the US Navy program based on Diego Garcia. You will ensure all AGE assets are maintained, repaired, and operated to the highest safety and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance of AGE systems covered by the contract.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Oversee repair, modification, and preventive‑maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
• Train and mentor AGE technicians, fostering technical skill development.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and equipment, ensuring availability.
• Document all maintenance activities and enforce safety and environmental protocols.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for AGE‑related queries with management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience maintaining, repairing, or modifying Aerospace Ground Equipment or similar assets.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a technical environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.
• Valid passport with at least one year of validity and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to meet contract medical requirements for the deployment period.
