NGIS Housekeeper

About the role

Amentum is seeking an NGIS Housekeeper to support a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and functionality of Navy Gateway Inns and Suites facilities in line with established standards.

Key responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, common areas, and other NGIS facilities according to the Housekeeper and Custodial Certification Manual.
• Perform dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and surface disinfection.
• Restock linens, toiletries, and other room amenities.
• Monitor areas needing deep cleaning and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain certification from a NEXCOM NGIS Certified Housekeeper Trainer and stay current with training requirements.
• Use and maintain cleaning equipment per training guidelines and inform supervisors of supply or equipment shortages.

Required profile

• Certification as an NGIS Housekeeper obtained through a NEXCOM NGIS Certified Housekeeper Trainer.
• Valid passport (minimum one year) and ability to obtain required visas and security clearances.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and basic communication skills.
