Jake's Place Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Jake’s Place Manager to oversee recreation, dining, beverage, and entertainment services for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures high‑quality experiences for patrons while complying with mission and government standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage food and beverage services, entertainment, and recreational activities in line with contract requirements.
• Develop and implement operational policies, supervise staff, and ensure customer satisfaction through feedback.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain health, safety, and environmental standards, and respond to emergencies within one hour of notification.

Required profile

• Four‑year degree in business, hospitality or related field, or at least three years of relevant experience plus five years of middle‑manager experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with ability to work in an austere OCONUS environment.
• Valid passport, ability to obtain visas, and meet medical and security requirements for overseas deployment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems for inventory, sales, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safety standards.
