Club and Activities Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Club and Activities Manager to oversee daily operations of MWR club facilities on Diego Garcia, providing a safe and welcoming environment for patrons.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily operations of club and bar facilities, including staff performance and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with installation policies, alcohol service regulations, and food safety standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cash handling, including POS transactions and end‑of‑shift reporting.
• Organize recreational events, social functions, and basic fitness classes as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience in recreation, club operations, hospitality or event coordination.
• Valid passport (minimum one year) and ability to obtain required visas and facility credentials.
• Ability to pass contract medical and security requirements for overseas deployment.

Required skills

• Point‑of‑sale (POS) system operation.
• Inventory management and ordering.
• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of alcohol service regulations and responsible beverage service practices.
