Vehicle Maintenance Analyst

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Analyst to lead maintenance and repair operations for a large fleet of military and civilian vehicles on Diego Garcia. The role ensures assets are serviced, documented, and compliant with contract and military standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute vehicle maintenance and recovery operations in line with contract, company, and military requirements.
• Manage administration, warranties, and government documentation such as LTDD and ECOD reports.
• Maintain accurate odometer readings and asset records in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Coordinate with managers, military personnel, suppliers, and vendors to resolve warranty issues and schedule maintenance.
• Ensure vehicles receive manufacturer and military level‑10, -20/-30 scheduled maintenance.
• Monitor repair documentation, verify reporting accuracy, and meet deadlines.
• Implement budgeting, cost‑avoidance analysis, track burn rates, and maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Evaluate team development needs and enforce health, safety, and welfare guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of maintenance and supply principles, production, and US military maintenance support systems.
• Familiarity with GCSS‑Army maintenance production, control, and support procedures.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and equipment parts acquisition processes.
• Understanding of DOT, OSHA, ANSI, OEM, and Military standards.
