Photocopier Technician

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Photocopier Technician to support a US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The role involves ensuring photocopy machines remain operational, well‑maintained, and stocked with consumables in a remote, austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and functional tests on photocopy machines according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions, restoring machines to full operational status.
• Replace worn components such as cleaning gears, rollers, and circuits to prevent downtime.
• Manage and stock consumable supplies (toner, cleaning materials, replacement parts) at each machine site.
• Document service and maintenance activities, track parts usage and maintenance schedules.
• Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot reported issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors and site managers to ensure seamless equipment operation.

Required profile

• Minimum two (2) years of experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing photocopiers or similar office equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining validity and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to pass and maintain contract medical requirements.
