Club and Activities Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Club and Activities Manager to oversee daily operations of MWR club facilities on Diego Garcia, providing a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patrons.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily operations of club and bar facilities, including staff, inventory, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with installation policies, alcohol service regulations, food safety, and health and safety standards.
• Manage point‑of‑sale systems, cash handling, and end‑of‑shift financial reporting.
• Organise and execute recreational events, social functions, and group exercise classes as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience in recreation, club operations, hospitality or event coordination.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical, security and deployment requirements.

Required skills

• Experience with POS (point‑of‑sale) systems.
• Inventory management and ordering.
• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Supervisory and customer service skills.
