Work Control Center Manager – US Navy Program

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Work Control Center Manager to lead the Maintenance Work Control group for a unique US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The manager serves as the single point of contact, ensuring scheduled work is completed on time and accurately recorded in the Projects and General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBs).

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage work readiness through meetings, issue resolution, metrics, dashboards, schedule reviews and walkthroughs.
• Oversee work control, planning, infrastructure, facilities support and plant operations.
• Receive, review and delegate service requests and work orders, maintaining a comprehensive database.
• Participate in future planning with Operations & Maintenance and Public Works, producing required reports.
• Direct maintenance, repair, minor construction and facility operations to ensure cost‑effective, reliable support.
• Coordinate building upgrades, office space planning, environmental studies and facility master‑plan development.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through quality, on‑time performance and optimal return on investment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience administering ERP system transactions.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• At least 8 years experience in facilities maintenance, base‑camp maintenance or a related field.
• Valid passport (minimum 1‑year validity) and ability to travel internationally.
• Eligibility to obtain required visas, pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials.
• Fluent in reading, speaking and comprehending English.
