UICAP Work Coordinator

About the role

The UICAP Work Coordinator supports a critical U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia, ensuring utility preventive maintenance (PM) and service work are efficiently managed within Maximo. The role focuses on accurate work order creation, timely execution, and continuous improvement of the PM program.

Key responsibilities

• Induct utility PM and service work into Maximo with complete work orders and related assets.
• Monitor and drive timely completion of PMs, analyzing missed PM reports to address root causes.
• Review Maximo work metrics for delays or inconsistencies and report findings to the UICAP Coordinator.
• Develop and maintain the NAVFAC Standard PM Program for all utilities infrastructure.
• Coordinate personnel involved in PM planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Validate and update Job Plans, Routes, and critical asset nominations with subject‑matter experts.
• Incorporate new assets and equipment requirements into maintenance schedules.
• Continuously refine PM programs to improve scheduling, reduce costs, and increase reliability.
• Perform quality‑assurance audits and ensure compliance with NAVFAC UICAP standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years experience in maintenance, preventive maintenance planning, or related field.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Maximo™ maintenance management system.
