Trusted Agent (Security & Credentialing)

About the role

The Trusted Agent serves as the primary point of contact for identity verification, credentialing, and security data management at the Diego Garcia installation. This role ensures compliance with audit requirements and supports the overall security posture of the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform identity verification, credentialing, badging, and biometric data handling.
• Manage data security, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Develop and enforce information system security requirements, risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security testing.
• Monitor event logs, maintain network security, and respond to security incidents.
• Provide on‑site support during regular hours and be available within one hour after government hours; on‑call 24/7 as needed.
• Adhere to Amentum safety, quality, and procedural compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar security or credentialing role, preferably at a U.S. military or government installation.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, U.S. passport, and driver’s license.
• Ability to meet PACOM medical requirements for deployment.
