Trusted Agent

About the role

The Trusted Agent serves as the primary point of contact for identity verification, credentialing, badge issuance, and biometric data management on the Diego Garcia installation. This role ensures data security, conducts audits, and supports information system security requirements while being available for on‑site support during and after regular working hours.

Key responsibilities

• Perform identity verification, credentialing, and badge issuance, including biometric data handling where applicable.
• Manage data security, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with government regulations.
• Execute information system security tasks such as risk assessments, vulnerability scans, security testing, and event‑log monitoring.
• Maintain network security and respond to security incidents as required.
• Provide on‑call support 24/7, with a response time of one hour after regular government hours.
• Uphold Amentum safety, quality, and procedural compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar security or credentialing role, preferably at a U.S. military or government installation.
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Valid U.S. passport and driver’s license throughout employment.
• Ability to meet PACOM medical requirements for the duration of deployment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with BMC Ready (preferred).
