Medium Voltage Foreman

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Medium Voltage Foreman to lead a team of electricians on a critical U.S. Navy program located on Diego Garcia. The role involves supervising the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of medium voltage electrical systems while ensuring strict safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and actively participate in the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of medium voltage electrical systems and equipment.
• Lead a team of medium voltage electricians, assigning daily tasks and monitoring progress.
• Review wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications to ensure work aligns with design requirements.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and enforce adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and occupational health standards.
• Prepare and maintain reports on work progress, inspections, testing results, and maintenance schedules.
• Communicate technical and safety issues with supervisors and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Completed a three‑year apprenticeship in the electrician trade or a related field.
• Minimum of three years experience as a Medium Voltage Electrician.
• Proven leadership experience managing electrical teams.
• Strong knowledge of medium voltage systems, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
