Jake's Place Manager

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Jake’s Place Manager to lead recreation, dining, beverage and entertainment services for a unique US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures high‑quality experiences for patrons while meeting mission requirements and government standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage food and beverage operations, entertainment and recreational activities in compliance with contract and government regulations.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and best practices to improve efficiency.
• Supervise, train and mentor staff to maintain service excellence.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and continuously improve services and programs.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, cost control and resource allocation.
• Maintain inventory of food, beverages, supplies and equipment.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are met.
• Coordinate events with government representatives and promote activities through appropriate media.
• Respond to emergencies within one hour of notification and maintain up‑to‑date operational and financial records.

Required profile

• A four‑year degree from an accredited college or university.
