Ground Electronics Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Ground Electronics Supervisor to lead daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ground electronics and communication systems supporting a critical U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ground electronics, communication equipment, and support devices.
• Oversee technicians performing inspections, repairs, calibrations, and system testing in line with Navy and Amentum standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and performance oversight for assigned personnel.
• Support installation, upgrades, and integration of new electronic systems or components.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in ground electronics maintenance, communications systems, avionics, or related fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional electronics or communications training preferred.
• English reading, speaking, and comprehension sufficient to perform contract requirements.
• Valid passport (minimum 1 year) and ability to obtain required visas and facility credentials.
• Ability to pass and maintain contract medical requirements.
• Valid driver’s license.
