Facilities Investment Manager – US Navy Program

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Facilities Investment Manager to lead the facilities investment program for a unique US Navy mission on Diego Garcia. The role ensures efficient operation, maintenance, and development of facilities in line with contract requirements and government standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall Facilities Investment program, aligning maintenance, repair, and improvement activities with contractual obligations.
• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of facility investment projects to deliver on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement operational goals that enhance long‑term value and functionality of managed facilities.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary teams responsible for a wide range of facility improvement and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain effective communication with government representatives, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide day‑to‑day oversight during normal government working hours and be on‑site within two hours for emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with government standards, policies, and contract requirements.
• Prepare and deliver management reports on program performance, status updates, and improvement recommendations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Facilities Manager or in a comparable multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience in complex settings.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute facilities investment programs that meet operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
• Strong knowledge of best practices in facilities management, maintenance, and investment strategies.
