Dynamometer Operator

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Dynamometer Operator to support a critical US Navy program located on Diego Garcia. The role involves operating, maintaining, and ensuring the safe use of a dynamometer system to meet testing and diagnostic requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all aspects of the dynamometer system according to established guidelines.
• Perform routine setup, calibration, and maintenance to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor system parameters and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and report any malfunctions or performance issues.
• Document operational activities, maintenance tasks, and test results in the required reporting systems.
• Adhere to safety, health, and environmental regulations during all operations.

Required profile

• Proven training and qualification in dynamometer operation.
• Ability to work independently and safely operate the equipment.
• Understanding of testing and diagnostic processes related to dynamometer use.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport (minimum one year validity) and ability to travel internationally.
• Pass contract medical requirements for the duration of deployment.
