Custodial Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Custodial Supervisor to manage housing and custodial infrastructure for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role oversees daily operations, maintenance of buildings, equipment, and utilities, ensuring compliance with customer goals and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Establish work requirements, coordinate and prioritize short‑ and long‑term projects.
• Oversee cleaning, temporary and permanent housing procedures for the base.
• Develop annual plans and budgets, monitor performance against targets.
• Manage purchasing and inventory control to ensure cost‑effective operations.
• Maintain building integrity, including electrical, water, air systems, HVAC, and grounds.
• Implement safety policies, conduct inspections and ensure compliance.
• Prepare and present status reports on facilities activities and renovation projects.
• Supervise, train and evaluate facilities staff.
• Coordinate housing assignments with USAG‑KA representatives.

Required profile

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in custodial service management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining at hire and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of building operations and management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
