AGE Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking an experienced AGE Supervisor to lead the maintenance, repair, and operation of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will manage a dedicated team, ensure equipment reliability, and uphold the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance of AGE systems covered by the contract.
• Diagnose, advise, and resolve technical issues to keep equipment within approved guidelines.
• Oversee repair, modification, and preventive maintenance of AGE assets to minimize downtime.
• Support troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Train and mentor AGE technicians, fostering technical skill development.
• Manage inventory, tools, and spare parts to ensure availability.
• Document all maintenance activities and ensure compliance with record‑keeping standards.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols, ensuring adherence to environmental and workplace regulations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for AGE‑related queries with management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum of four (4) years experience maintaining, repairing, and modifying Aerospace Ground Equipment or similar equipment.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on AGE systems.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
