Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Manager

About the role

The Unaccompanied Housing (UH) Manager will lead the administration and operation of UH services for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. This position ensures compliance with government regulations, manages resources efficiently, and delivers high‑quality customer service to service members and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day UH operations and manage appropriated funds.
• Implement and maintain inventory management practices.
• Complete and maintain required training certifications (PAY.GOV, EBILLING, eMH, CNIC UH, HLC).
• Oversee financial processes, payment systems, and transactional compliance within PAY.GOV and EBILLING.
• Manage operational requirements within Enterprise Military Housing (eMH) and ensure accurate data processing and reporting.
• Be on‑site during regular government hours and respond within one hour for after‑hours support.
• Monitor facilities to meet standards and resolve housing‑related issues.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to housing staff.
• Perform other duties consistent with the position’s level.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience in unaccompanied housing administration, appropriated funds, and inventory management.
• At least one year of formal college or university education.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining validity and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials.
• Fluent reading, speaking, and comprehension of English.
