Tennis Instructor for US Navy Program

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Tennis Instructor to deliver professional tennis lessons for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves teaching individuals and groups of varying skill levels while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 20 hours of tennis lessons per week for beginners to advanced players.
• Teach fundamentals, techniques, strategies and rules, and provide personalized coaching.
• Organize drills, matches and conditioning exercises.
• Maintain courts, nets and equipment to safety standards.
• Prepare lesson plans and manage the tennis facility.

Required profile

• Certification or documented experience as a Tennis Instructor (USPTA, PTR or equivalent).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport, visas and facility credentials.
• Completion of CPR, First Aid and AED training with annual recertification.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
