Silk Screen & Press Operator – US Navy Program

About the role
We are looking for a Silk Screen Operator / Press Operator to join Amentum’s team supporting a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves operating silk‑screen and press equipment to produce high‑quality printed materials that meet Navy specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Set up screens, mix and prepare inks, and align materials for production runs.
- Operate manual or automated presses, monitor settings, and adjust as needed to maintain color accuracy and registration.
- Inspect finished prints for quality, ensuring compliance with Navy standards.
- Maintain production schedules, document output, and manage inventory of inks and supplies.
- Clean and perform routine maintenance on screens and press equipment.
- Uphold safety and operational procedures in a remote, austere environment.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of experience in silk screen printing or press operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid passport (minimum one year beyond hire date) and ability to travel internationally.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials.
- Ability to pass contract medical requirements and obtain necessary facility credentials.
