Quality Manager – KP

About the role

The Quality Manager – KP will lead the implementation and enforcement of the Contractor’s Quality Management System (QMS) for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. Reporting directly to senior corporate leadership, the role ensures contract compliance and upholds industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enforce the QMS across all project facets, ensuring alignment with contract requirements, policies, and best practices.
• Maintain on‑site presence during government working hours and be available within two hours after hours when required.
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and evaluations to verify adherence to QMS procedures and ISO standards.
• Identify non‑conformances, develop corrective actions, and monitor their implementation.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality activities, findings, and corrective actions for senior leadership.
• Lead and mentor the quality team, providing guidance on inspection protocols and compliance measures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or a related scientific field from an accredited institution.
• Current Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience developing and enforcing QMS programs on contracts of similar size and complexity.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a complex environment.
• Must not serve simultaneously as the Site Safety and Health Officer.
