QA Auditor / Inspector

About the role

The QA Auditor / Inspector will enforce the Contractor’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with contractual specifications, policies, and procedures for operations on Diego Garcia.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and reviews during daily operations to evaluate work quality and ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and findings, and prepare reports for the Quality Manager.
• Identify non‑conformities, develop corrective actions, and collaborate with personnel to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate with the Quality Manager while remaining independent from the Project Manager for reporting and oversight duties.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or QA‑related certifications are a plus.
• At least three (3) years of experience enforcing QMS in similar large‑scale projects.
• Demonstrated ability to pass contract medical, security, and deployment requirements.
• Valid passport (minimum one year) and ability to obtain required country visas.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of quality assurance/inspection processes and compliance systems.
• Experience with QMS auditing procedures, preferably ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Strong organizational skills for accurate record‑keeping and reporting.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
