Physician Assistant – BOSC Clinic

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to provide high‑quality medical care at the BOSC Clinic on Diego Garcia. The role supports a unique U.S. Navy program, delivering both routine and emergency health services in an austere environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, review histories, diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe and manage medications and therapies within scope of practice.
• Support public‑health initiatives, prevention programs, and health education.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans.
• Provide emergency medical care and trauma stabilization during critical incidents.
• Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory and imaging diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Assist in planning, managing, and improving clinic operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA‑C certification/licensure in the United States.
• 1–3 years of direct patient‑care experience in a clinical or military setting.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Valid passport (minimum one‑year validity) and ability to travel internationally.
