Officers Club Manager

About the role

Amentum is looking for an Officers Club Manager to lead daily operations of the Officers Club supporting a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence in a unique military‑focused hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all club operations, including food and beverage service, customer relations, and event coordination.
• Lead, supervise, and train staff to meet Navy MWR Star Service and AECR standards.
• Maintain compliance with CNICINST 1710.3 hazardous‑materials regulations and ensure all personnel hold current CPR certification.
• Monitor cleanliness, organization, and food‑safety standards throughout the facility.
• Develop programs and services that enhance patron experience.
• Manage inventory of supplies, equipment, and hazardous materials with proper record‑keeping.
• Track budgets, financial records, and revenue goals.
• Communicate with patrons, staff, and stakeholders to resolve concerns and improve services.
• Plan and execute special events, catering, and activities for officers and guests.
• Prepare routine operational, training, and customer‑service reports.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of hospitality, food‑and‑beverage, or facility‑operations experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Willingness to complete Navy MWR Star Service and AECR customer‑service training.
• Ability to receive training on hazardous‑materials handling per CNICINST 1710.3.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to pass contract medical requirements.
