Ground Electronics Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Ground Electronics Supervisor to lead daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ground electronics and communication systems supporting a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures all equipment is mission‑ready and complies with Navy and Amentum standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise technicians performing inspections, repairs, calibrations, and system testing.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with operations, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and performance oversight for assigned personnel.
• Support installation, upgrades, and integration of new electronic systems or components.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in ground electronics maintenance, communications systems, avionics, or related fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional electronics or communications certifications preferred.
• Valid passport with at least one year beyond hire date and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to meet contract medical requirements and obtain necessary facility credentials.
