AGE Supervisor – Aerospace Ground Equipment

About the role

The Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Supervisor will lead a dedicated team responsible for the maintenance, repair and operation of AGE assets supporting a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. This position ensures equipment reliability, safety and performance while providing technical expertise across multiple systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance of all AGE systems covered by the contract.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical subsystems.
• Oversee repair, modification and preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
• Develop and enforce safety and environmental protocols in compliance with contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance actions and ensure proper documentation.
• Manage inventory of tools, spare parts and ensure availability of required resources.
• Train and mentor AGE technicians to enhance technical competence.
• Serve as primary point of contact for AGE‑related queries with management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum four (4) years of experience maintaining, repairing or modifying Aerospace Ground Equipment or similar assets.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a technical environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid passport with at least one year of validity and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to meet contract medical requirements for the duration of deployment.
