Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Supervisor

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Supervisor to lead the upkeep of Non‑Tactical Vehicle Equipment, Weight Handling Equipment, Material Handling Equipment, and Ordnance Handling Equipment for a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and repair activities on NTVE, WHE, MHE, and OHE to ensure operational readiness.
• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Diagnose complex equipment issues, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine effective repair methods.
• Lead a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance.
• Manage inventory levels for tools, consumables, and spare parts.

Required profile

• Two years of journeyman‑level experience in vehicle and equipment maintenance, preferably with NTVE, WHE, MHE, or OHE.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain deployment readiness.
