Customer Services Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Customer Services Manager to support a unique U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer requests via walk‑ins, phone, fax, or email, providing accurate information and status updates.
• Investigate and resolve complaints, concerns, or inquiries efficiently to achieve high satisfaction.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, inquiries, complaints, and resolutions in line with organizational procedures.
• Develop, implement, and uphold customer service standards that meet Amentum and U.S. Navy requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customer relations, facilitating communication between customers and internal departments.
• Train, support, and mentor staff on customer service procedures and best practices.
• Identify recurring service issues and propose improvements to enhance operations and satisfaction.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory customer‑service or customer‑relationship role.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving abilities with multicultural awareness.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
• Valid passport (minimum one‑year validity) and ability to obtain required visas and facility credentials.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain compliance throughout deployment.
