AGE Supervisor – Aerospace Ground Equipment

About the role

The AGE Supervisor will lead the maintenance, repair and operation of Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) for a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia, ensuring safety, reliability and performance standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and maintenance of AGE systems covered by the contract.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Oversee repair, modification and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Manage inventory, tools and spare parts to support uninterrupted operations.
• Train and mentor AGE technicians, fostering technical skill development.
• Document maintenance activities and enforce safety and environmental protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum four years experience maintaining, repairing or modifying AGE or similar equipment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a technical environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to meet contract medical, security and deployment requirements.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for AGE equipment.
• Experience using maintenance management systems for reporting and inventory tracking.
