Peacekeeper Inn Manager

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Peacekeeper Inn Manager to lead all hospitality, recreation, food‑and‑beverage, and entertainment services for a unique U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures seamless operations, compliance with government standards, and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily inn operations, covering lodging, recreation, food‑and‑beverage, and entertainment services.
• Develop and enforce operational policies to improve efficiency while meeting contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and manage staff, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Control budgets, manage procurement, and monitor costs to achieve financial targets.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee events and programs that enhance guest experiences.
• Respond to emergencies within one hour of notification and manage contingencies on‑site.
• Maintain facility cleanliness, functionality, and safety in line with health guidelines.
• Prepare regular reports on operations, budget performance, customer satisfaction, and staff productivity for government review.
• Account for assets, supplies, and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote inn services and maximize revenue.
• Collaborate with government representatives and stakeholders to meet program requirements and improve the customer experience.

Required profile

• A four‑year degree in business management, hospitality, food, or recreation management from an accredited institution, OR equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality and recreation operations principles.
• Experience supervising staff and managing budgets in a hospitality or similar environment.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and manage on‑site contingencies.
