Photocopier Technician (US Navy Program)

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Photocopier Technician to join a dedicated US Navy program on Diego Garcia. You will be responsible for keeping photocopy equipment operational, performing inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to ensure high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, cleaning, and functional testing of photocopiers.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs to restore service.
• Replace worn components such as gears, rollers, belts, and electronic circuits.
• Execute preventive maintenance according to manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain inventory of consumables (toner, cleaning supplies) and replacement parts.
• Document all service activities, parts used, and maintenance actions.
• Respond promptly to service requests and minimize equipment downtime.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience servicing photocopiers or similar office equipment.
• Valid passport with minimum one‑year validity and ability to obtain required visas.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials.
• Proficient English reading, speaking, and comprehension.
